My Story

My story and how it led me to Reiki

My life has been shaped by profound loss and challenges, from the untimely deaths of family members in childhood to navigating complex adult experiences. Through these events, I learned firsthand how trauma affects the mind and body, and how vital it is to find support, guidance, and safe spaces to heal.

In 2006, I discovered Reiki, and it transformed the way I experienced life. Reiki is not something a practitioner does to you—it is a practice that allows the mind to quiet, creating the conditions for the body and nervous system to naturally release tension, pain, and stress. Through regular practice, I experienced clarity, calm, and a deep sense of balance that has guided me through both everyday challenges and profound life transitions.

Alongside Reiki, I incorporate Sound Therapy, using instruments such as singing bowls, chimes, and bells to support the body’s natural rhythms and enhance relaxation. Together, these modalities help cultivate presence, calm, and internal balance, supporting both emotional and physical wellbeing.

Today, as a practitioner of Usui Reiki Ryoho and Sound Therapy, my mission is to create a supportive and trusting environment where clients can explore relaxation, restore balance, and develop tools to integrate peace into daily life. Healing is a gentle, ongoing process—a practice of quieting the mind, listening to the body, and allowing natural restoration to unfold.

Everyone’s journey is unique, but through this work, I’ve seen firsthand how consistent practice and mindful support can foster resilience, calm, and a renewed sense of possibility. My goal is to guide clients toward that same sense of peace and clarity, one session at a time.

My work is informed not only by formal training, but by personal experience navigating trauma and learning firsthand how deeply the nervous system shapes daily life.

Through that experience, I came to understand that true steadiness does not come from dramatic intervention. It comes from consistent, supportive practices that allow the body and mind to regulate naturally.
